Description

  • Design, deliver, and maintain features end to end in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Build front-end and back-end systems that integrate disparate services into a unified customer-facing offer.
  • Develop scalable backend systems that connect commerce, pricing, sourcing, and engineering platforms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-team initiatives.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
  • Write clear, efficient, testable code and participate in constructive code reviews.
  • Participate in an off-hours support rotation once every 6 weeks.
  • Improve the technical foundations of the platform and help raise team standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, quality engineers, analytics, and business teams to solve complex problems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building web applications and backend services.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and MSSQL for designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production systems.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments.
  • Track record of robust feature implementation and successful feature delivery.
  • Experience working in an agile team with product managers and quality engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET 10, Entity Framework, MVC, Azure Service Bus, HTML, Vue.js, TypeScript, CSS, SASS, Rancher, ADO, Azure Repos, and Redis.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills and understanding of software architecture and SOLID principles.
  • Experience in API design and integration, system design, scalability, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Vue.js.
  • Experience in Microsoft-based technology environments.
