Description

  • Develop deep expertise in Tines' no-code automation platform and apply it to customer security and IT operations challenges.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers and alliance partners.
  • Build and demo Tines Stories to demonstrate value and support sales wins.
  • Manage the technical decision process during proofs of concept and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify key use cases and support competitive account strategies.
  • Support enablement of channel and technical alliance partners and assist their pre-sales engineers on engagements.
  • Provide market feedback to the product organization based on customer and partner interactions.
  • Contribute customer experiences, competitive insights, and new automation stories to the knowledge base.
  • Support the Solutions Engineering team with metrics, best practices, and operational improvements.
  • Drive sales engineering strategy for the DACH/EMEA region and represent the SE team as a senior voice.
  • Mentor other sales engineers and support their professional growth.
  • Represent Tines at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex automation solutions for high-profile customers.
  • Work with product management, marketing, and engineering to influence roadmap and strategy.
  • Advocate for key customers and ensure their feedback is incorporated into product development.
  • Identify initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales engineering function.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technology delivery role at a SaaS company.
  • Business-level German language proficiency.
  • Strong technical background with experience working with APIs.
  • Curiosity to learn new cloud technologies.
  • Security and/or IT industry experience.
  • Experience uncovering customer needs.
  • Experience delivering compelling demos and winning technical evaluations.
  • Experience communicating with both business and technical audiences.
  • Project management skills and the ability to deliver customer solutions.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • A startup mentality and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to 40%.
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback and motivated to help clients succeed.
