Description

  • Lead the pricing and promotion optimization team in applying data science to business problems for a CPG client.
  • Communicate the analytics approach and its alignment to business objectives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create, manage, and communicate the product roadmap and strategic vision for pricing and promotion optimization.
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and scale the product across multiple markets.
  • Design and implement quarterly plans aligned with product goals, KPIs, and timelines.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 5-6 members and foster a high-performance environment.
  • Define and implement an optimization framework for pricing and promotional strategy.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Analytics teams to gather requirements and translate them into action plans.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Track and analyze key metrics to measure product success and drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with experienced data scientists, participate in coaching and learning, and engage with external communities and conferences.
  • Support regulatory, investor relations, and other business demands by developing innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of data science experience.
  • 8+ years of product management experience focused on pricing, promotions, or optimization.
  • Graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing a team and leading product initiatives.
  • Experience creating product roadmaps, setting priorities, and executing strategic plans.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience in pricing strategies and optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in Azure environments and with Databricks is a plus.
  • Bias for action with strong task prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proactive, curious, flexible, and able to bring a can-do attitude.
