Description

  • Refactor a Python optimization algorithm using object-oriented programming.
  • Apply data science to solve supply chain and optimization problems in retail and CPG.
  • Use statistical techniques and machine learning methods to analyze large datasets and generate pricing optimization insights.
  • Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to improve inventory management, reduce stockouts, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Design and run experiments to test replenishment strategies and allocation policies.
  • Monitor supply chain and replenishment KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply chain management.
  • Coach and collaborate with a growing team of data scientists.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience with mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR-Tools.
  • Experience with MLflow and model lifecycle management.
  • Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines in production.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with experience using data analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to explain solutions to business stakeholders.
