Description

  • Debug complex, business-impacting issues across application systems.
  • Use incident management processes, monitoring metrics, and tooling to generate reports and take corrective actions.
  • Apply logging practices to support alerting, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
  • Follow standards and best practices to improve system stability, availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities while minimizing downtime.
  • Use continuous delivery and DevOps practices to deploy and run software.
  • Mentor less experienced team members through technical guidance and leadership.
  • Work directly with clients and influence operational processes such as incident management and support scope.
  • Perform system performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Work with development teams to proactively identify and prevent issues.

Requirements

  • Experience with languages such as Java, React, or Angular, plus scripting in Python or PowerShell.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Experience working with relational or non-relational databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or Azure Pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and triaging skills to troubleshoot code effectively.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements.
  • High-level understanding of architectures including monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices, and serverless.
  • Comfortable with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Willingness to work on a rotation- and need-based 24x7 team and handle multiple engagements.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $94,000 to $152,000 USD.
