Description

  • Facilitate live, trauma-informed LGBTQ+ educational training programs for diverse audiences.
  • Prepare training content, facilitator guides, scripts, and slide decks for public-facing presentations.
  • Update training materials by incorporating current best practices and new content.
  • Track incoming public training requests and support scheduling, organization, and documentation.
  • Collect and input training data to support metric tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to support training operations and consistency.
  • Coordinate logistical needs for trainings, including travel planning and materials preparation.
  • Respond to partner inquiries through shared inboxes and other communication platforms.
  • Adapt training delivery to meet the needs of diverse audiences while maintaining program fidelity.
  • Contribute ideas for improving training materials and delivery formats in a professional and collaborative manner.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience solo facilitating engaging training sessions for varied, diverse external audiences, particularly on identity-based topics and issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, including the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ young people.
  • Familiarity with crisis management protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to train a variety of learners with different learning styles, especially in Crisis Services training.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staff wellness and a trauma-informed approach to crisis intervention work.
  • A quiet, private work environment with high-speed dedicated broadband internet access (minimum 10Mb down/5Mb up).
  • Proficiency in public speaking and facilitation.
  • Proficiency in adult education.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
