Description

  • Investigate merchant websites, applications, commerce stacks, catalogs, carts, and checkout flows.
  • Assess technical feasibility for commercial opportunities and translate customer needs into recommendations.
  • Build, test, and improve integrations across ecommerce platforms, APIs, feeds, webhooks, and embeds.
  • Support technical discovery, proposals, security reviews, proofs of concept, and customer launches.
  • Collaborate with customer engineers and internal Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Publish and maintain Terrific apps across relevant commerce marketplaces.
  • Build scripts, automations, AI agents, and internal tools to accelerate integration work.
  • Improve integration reliability, documentation, onboarding processes, and technical discovery workflows.
  • Turn recurring customer issues into Product and Engineering priorities.
  • Develop the roadmap for Terrific’s integration ecosystem and partner relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on development or technical integration experience.
  • Production experience with at least two major ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, VTEX, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
  • Experience with APIs, product feeds, webhooks, authentication, carts, checkout flows, or merchant technology.
  • Ability to read unfamiliar code, write working scripts, and debug browser or network behavior.
  • Experience working directly with customers, merchants, or external technical teams.
  • Deep experience in at least one commercial pillar—eCommerce, Marketing, or Media—and working fluency across the other two.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with sound judgment regarding effort, risk, and commercial value.
  • Comfort working independently in a distributed, international team.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese; French is valuable for EMEA accounts.
  • Based in Latin America or a compatible EMEA time zone and available for a full-time independent-contractor engagement.
  • Experience with live shopping, social commerce, video commerce, marketplace apps, or international retailers is preferred.
