Description

  • Support customer engagements from booking through delivery, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Develop and manage project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resources across the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, managing communication and expectations.
  • Monitor project costs and schedules, prepare cost estimates, track expenses, and report financial status.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, contractual requirements, and service level agreements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Sales on contract review, negotiation, revisions, and execution.
  • Drive process improvements, product development input, structured project reviews, and lessons-learned implementation.
  • Act as a voice of the customer and support strategic initiatives, account growth, and issue resolution.
  • Mentor junior Project Managers and contribute to team development and operational enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, energy, or a related field.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification.
  • 7+ years of experience as a project or operations manager in solar or renewable energy, heavy construction, or aerospace.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to execute multiple projects across multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Advanced or expert proficiency in MS Suite software, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Cora, Wrike, Katana, Project Insight, Primavera P6, JIRA, and Atlassian tools such as Confluence.
  • Experience leading a small team and working with remotely distributed contractors.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid home/office setup with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, primarily to US-based project sites.
  • Master’s degree in a related field such as engineering, project management, or operations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of PV plant components such as PV modules, trackers, inverters, HV systems, wind, and BESS (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (preferred).

  • Base salary of $115,000–$135,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and work location.
