Description

  • Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects from programming through closeout.
  • Clarify requirements, coordinate design efforts, document decisions, and ensure deliverables meet quality and constructability standards.
  • Maintain alignment with scope, schedule, and budget while identifying and surfacing risks early.
  • Collaborate with Project Leads, Group Leads, and senior engineers on coordination strategy and delivery reliability.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver layouts, calculations, specifications, markups, and supporting documentation.
  • Lead technical design reviews and participate in project and discipline meetings.
  • Mentor Designers and engineers through hands-on guidance, reviews, feedback, and structured check-ins.
  • Support pursuits by contributing scope assumptions, fee/OPCC inputs, technical narratives, and interview participation.
  • Improve standards, workflows, tools, and documentation through Pull Requests, lessons learned, and GitHub contributions.
  • Support client relationship development through clear communication, follow-through, networking, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with Electrical preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with demonstrated discipline-specific capability.
  • Experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects is preferred.
  • Experience supporting coordination and providing guidance to Designers or engineers is preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated designs and make sound discipline decisions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • RCDD certification is preferred for Telecom/ICT discipline work.
  • PEng and PMP certifications are a plus.
