Description

  • Assess and optimize Google Analytics tracking, including events, tags, and data collection strategies.
  • Develop a technical roadmap that aligns Google Analytics implementation with business objectives.
  • Implement tracking enhancements using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics.
  • Conduct unit and end-to-end testing to ensure data integrity and tracking efficiency.
  • Document technical implementations and create guidelines for future analytics improvements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Data Management teams to support data integration.
  • Support enterprise data ingestion into the data warehouse and verify Google Analytics data processing.
  • Provide reports and insights that translate raw data into business recommendations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure tracking aligns with business KPIs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Google Analytics, including advanced tracking setup and data visualization.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM), JavaScript, and data-layer implementations.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience analyzing and optimizing website traffic, marketing campaign performance, and user engagement data.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, data segmentation, and funnel analysis.
  • Strong documentation skills for maintaining tracking implementation records.
  • Experience integrating Google Analytics data into broader data warehousing solutions.
  • Project management experience leading analytics tracking implementations and optimizations.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Matomo, or other web analytics tools (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and compliance tracking strategies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and BI tools such as Power BI or Looker (preferred).
  • Contract position, 40 hours per week.
