Description

  • Partner with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to shape roadmaps by sizing opportunities, evaluating impact, and turning data into actionable narratives.
  • Lead analytical work from opportunity sizing through experimental design and deep-dive diagnostics using structured and unstructured data.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner in product planning by connecting analytics insights to company strategy and market trends.
  • Create and improve core datasets and contribute to the analytics tooling ecosystem, including dbt, Hex, and Mixpanel.
  • Design and evaluate experiments using rigorous methodologies to isolate causal effects and interpret noisy product data.
  • Mentor peers on analysis design, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement without formal management responsibility.
  • Represent analytics in leadership discussions and help embed data in major product decisions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related role, preferably in tech, ecommerce marketplaces, or consumer products.
  • Experience working on engagement loops or retention strategy.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort using Python or R for exploratory analysis and modeling.
  • Experience owning ambiguous problem spaces from question framing through recommendation delivery.
  • A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to map how product and business components affect user experience.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and interpreting complex product behavior through data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses and defend methodology choices.
  • Collaborative, emotionally intelligent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excitement to contribute to a culture centered on curiosity, humility, and impact.
  • Preferred experience in B2B2C businesses, building or contributing to data infrastructure such as event tracking or dbt modeling, and familiarity with marketing technology.
  • Required language: SQL; Python is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with SeatGeek’s stack is preferred, including Airflow, Fivetran, dbt, Redshift, mParticle, Eppo, Mixpanel, Looker, Hex, GitLab, Claude Code, and Hex Agent.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $108,000 to $156,000 USD.
  • Equity eligibility.
  • Compensation is determined in part by skills, experience, certifications, and location.
