Description

  • Design, develop, and enhance the medical practice software platform.
  • Build performance dashboards and define REST APIs.
  • Oversee system architecture for core platform services.
  • Collaborate with offshore QA teams to ensure stable, high-quality releases.
  • Enhance and maintain the partner authentication system using OAuth2.
  • Design and implement stateless AWS-based authentication for external partner API integration.
  • Design database tables and develop APIs for partner credential management, JWT generation, and token validation.
  • Implement authentication and authorization systems using OAuth2, Cognito, and LDAP.
  • Supervise backend and UI developers on UI, API, and database changes.
  • Design and implement DNS and website provisioning automation using AWS Hosted Zone and state machines.
  • Develop REST APIs to manage domain state lifecycle and collaborate with QA to resolve issues.
  • Improve backend and infrastructure engineering processes for scalability, reliability, performance monitoring, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Development Tech Lead, Software Engineer, or in a related role.
  • Experience with PHP and Laravel for legacy systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing asynchronous, scalable systems using Kafka and PubSub.
  • Experience architecting and managing cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes or Terraform.
  • Experience working with healthcare data exchange standards including FHIR and HL7.
  • Experience with AWS-based authentication systems, OAuth2, Cognito, and LDAP is preferred.
  • Experience supervising backend and UI developers is preferred.
  • Telecommuting position with remote work from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
