Description

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients via phone, SMS, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot POS-related software, hardware, and networking issues following internal processes and guidelines.
  • Resolve Level 1 support issues and escalate complex cases to Level 2 or management when needed.
  • Log, prioritize, and manage support tickets accurately in the system.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients while meeting service level agreements.
  • Escalate critical issues and customer complaints promptly.
  • Prepare detailed shift handover notes and document incidents, resolutions, and pending issues.
  • Coordinate with the Melbourne team and other internal teams on escalations.
  • Provide basic guidance and training to customers when required.
  • Assist with sales orders for hardware and software needs and support proactive system tasks such as upgrades and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Strong Level 1 technical knowledge across software, hardware, and networking.
  • Prior experience in helpdesk or technical support roles is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple systems efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management.
  • Calm and composed under pressure in critical situations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology is preferred.
