Description

  • Act as a primary point of contact for People & Culture inquiries and shared inbox communication.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Track induction programs, probation reviews, employment offers, and employee changes.
  • Draft, review, and manage employee contracts, letters, and position descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update the HRIS in line with legal and best-practice requirements.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Support performance reviews, professional learning plans, grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, statistical analysis, and other required documents.
  • Coordinate employee record collection and verify payroll information.
  • Assist with incident reporting, injury management, WorkCover lodgements, and return-to-work coordination.
  • Support cross-functional People & Culture projects, including engagement surveys, policy audits, and diversity initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture Manager and broader team.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in a similar generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll practices and processes.
  • Exposure to Modern Awards and basic industrial relations concepts.
  • Strong administration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to adapt to and support the organisation’s unique work culture.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in HR functions.
