Description

Test developed web applications against specified requirements across desktop browsers and mobile devices.
Ensure cross-platform compatibility and a seamless user experience across different environments.
Use and further develop test automation through low-code and no-code UI-based tools.
Record, monitor, and track issues clearly through to resolution in coordination with development teams and stakeholders.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve defects and participate in defect triage meetings.
Track test progress against release schedules and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Review test environments and processes and recommend improvements to testing strategies and tools.
Provide accurate estimates for testing effort to support project planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of hands-on QA experience testing web-based applications.
Experience with cross-browser functional testing and bug tracking/reporting tools.
Strong ability to write detailed test cases.
Solid working knowledge of test automation, preferably with Selenium WebDriver.
Previous experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience working in an Agile team environment.
Comfortable working across both PC and Mac platforms.
ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
Ability to think quickly and adapt under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong organizational abilities.

Benefits

Salary range of ZAR 280,000 to ZAR 450,000 annually.
6-month fixed-term contract.
