Description

  • Own product solutions from problem definition and design through delivery, quality assurance, and ongoing operation.
  • Follow and improve an AI-assisted software development lifecycle across analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Apply engineering standards and automated quality gates to ensure correctness, security, and auditability.
  • Architect and implement full-stack solutions using established software development principles and patterns.
  • Contribute to product direction, technical decisions, and development process improvements.
  • Mentor colleagues and help raise engineering quality across the team.
  • Work Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and render overtime when necessary.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to architect and design full-stack solutions end to end.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database schema design and migrations.
  • Strong experience with microservices, messaging architectures, and protocols such as gRPC, pub/sub, event streaming, or WebSockets.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and secure DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools, including coding assistants and agents.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and English-language skills.
  • Financial services experience, particularly in capital markets, custody, or trading software, is preferred.
  • Exposure to blockchain, distributed-ledger technology, real-world asset tokenisation, regulated environments, cloud platforms, JVM, Kotlin, Rust, or large-scale event-driven systems is preferred.
  • Based in or near Metro Manila, with flexibility for potential hybrid office work, is preferred.
