Description

  • Build custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks, and plugins from provided designs.
  • Translate mockups into responsive, accessible frontend implementations using HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Drupal themes, content types, and modules.
  • Diagnose and resolve frontend and backend issues across CMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with designers, consultants, and clients to refine website implementations.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude Code to plan and execute project work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with strong HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
  • 3+ years building and customizing WordPress sites, including ACF- or React-based Gutenberg blocks.
  • Working knowledge of PHP 7.x/8.x for reading, debugging, and extending WordPress and Drupal codebases.
  • Practical Drupal experience with theming, content architecture, or module-level development.
  • Familiarity with WordPress hooks and filters and LAMP-stack technologies including MySQL and Git.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, client-facing environments.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code.
  • Experience with React or Angular is preferred.
  • Experience with Laravel, Symfony, Docker, Linux, AWS, or other cloud platforms is preferred.
