Description

  • Own full-stack solutions from concept and problem definition through delivery, quality assurance, and ongoing operation.
  • Help shape product direction by contributing to decisions about what to build and why.
  • Analyse, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain features using an AI-assisted software development lifecycle.
  • Apply established software development principles and patterns throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Meet engineering standards and automated quality gates for correctness, security, and auditability.
  • Improve development processes and practices across the team.
  • Mentor colleagues to raise engineering quality and standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to architect and design end-to-end full-stack solutions.
  • Expertise with relational databases, including PostgreSQL schema design and migrations.
  • Expertise with microservices and messaging architectures, including gRPC, pub/sub, event streaming, and WebSockets.
  • Experience with containerized technologies such as Docker, CI/CD, and secure DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools, including coding assistants and agents.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and spoken and written English skills.
  • Financial services experience, particularly in capital markets, custody, or trading software (preferred).
  • Experience in regulated environments, cloud platforms, blockchain or distributed-ledger technology, tokenization, JVM/Kotlin/Rust, or event-driven systems at scale (preferred).
