Description

  • Work with the project team to deploy Azure-based solutions that deliver client value and success.
  • Implement solutions in Microsoft Azure that meet client needs for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs using existing tools, services, and frameworks.
  • Stay current on emerging technology trends and assess their impact on cloud solutions.
  • Design Power Platform solutions, including decisions between model-driven and canvas apps based on business requirements.
  • Define and manage Dataverse security roles and user security within Power Apps and Office 365.
  • Develop Power Automate workflows for backend processing.
  • Support data modeling in Dataverse and advise on reporting best practices and repository selection.
  • Configure on-premises data gateways and work with on-premises data performance considerations.
  • Create Power Platform custom connectors and contribute to related software development efforts outside the platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Power Apps.
  • Experience with Office 365 security and Power Apps user security.
  • Experience defining security roles in Dataverse.
  • Ability to determine whether model-driven or canvas apps are the best fit for business requirements.
  • Experience with multiple environment best practices.
  • Dynamics 365 experience and knowledge of its relationship to the Power Platform.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling within Dataverse.
  • Understanding of the difference between transactional and reporting data repositories.
  • Ability to provide guidance on reporting best practices for Dataverse versus reporting data repositories.
  • Understanding of performance optimization for on-premises data versus Dataverse.
  • Ability to design intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience developing Power Automate workflows.
  • Some experience or exposure to Power BI reporting.
  • Experience configuring an on-premises data gateway.
  • Experience creating Power Platform custom connectors.
  • Software development expertise outside of the Power Platform, including C#/.NET development.
  • Experience with web/client-side library development.
