Description

  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, taxation, budget controllership, and other related accounting tasks as an individual contributor.
  • Manage workload distribution, ensure timely completion of accounting tasks, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Review staff-prepared reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger.
  • Oversee purchasing cycles in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support external audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Help improve accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and labor laws.
  • Process tax filings and respond to financial data inquiries from management or regulators.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of equivalent experience in a US-based accounting environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP fundamentals.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience supporting payroll and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience with cost accounting and thorough knowledge of job costing concepts and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people management, team leadership, interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a growth-oriented work environment.
