Description

Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, taxation, budget controllership, and other related accounting tasks as an individual contributor.
Manage workload distribution, ensure timely completion of accounting tasks, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP.
Review staff-prepared reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger.
Oversee purchasing cycles in line with company policies and procedures.
Support external audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Help improve accounting policies and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and labor laws.
Process tax filings and respond to financial data inquiries from management or regulators.

Requirements

At least 7 years of equivalent experience in a US-based accounting environment.
At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, or an equivalent field.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP fundamentals.
Prior experience with ERP systems.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Experience supporting payroll and financial reporting processes.
Experience with cost accounting and thorough knowledge of job costing concepts and procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong people management, team leadership, interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a growth-oriented work environment.
