Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across international entities.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany activity, foreign currency accounting, and related accounting areas.
  • Lead statutory reporting and local audits with external auditors and accounting providers.
  • Oversee reconciliation and conversion from local GAAP to US GAAP.
  • Manage third-party accounting providers and ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Lead, coach, and develop international accounting team members and resolve complex accounting matters.
  • Standardize accounting processes, internal controls, close procedures, and reporting across entities.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to scale global accounting operations.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Payroll, Legal, and HR.
  • Support international expansion, acquisitions, new entity formation, and other global finance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant international accounting experience.
  • Active CPA or equivalent qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Public accounting experience required; Big Four or large regional firm experience preferred.
  • Experience with international statutory reporting, local audits, and month-, quarter-, and year-end close.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency accounting.
  • Experience managing accounting professionals and third-party accounting providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple entities, jurisdictions, deadlines, and stakeholders in a global environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in global technology, software, SaaS, or high-growth organizations preferred; NetSuite, automation, finance transformation, and outsourced accounting experience are also preferred.
