Description

  • Speak with customers by phone and email through inbound and outbound contact to understand their circumstances.
  • Conduct income and expenditure reviews to discuss customers' financial situations honestly and supportively.
  • Agree realistic and sustainable payment plans to help customers get back on track.
  • Use calm and clear communication to reduce customer worry and build trust.
  • Identify customer vulnerability, signpost to advice services, and help ensure fair outcomes.
  • Work compliantly and deliver a good customer experience while getting matters right first time.
  • Receive coaching, regular 1:1s, huddles, and feedback to support performance and development.

Requirements

  • Experience in an arrears or collections role.
  • Previous experience supporting vulnerable customers in a regulated environment.
  • A friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
  • A genuine commitment to helping customers and making a positive difference.
  • Ability to work well as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
  • A proactive, curious, and solution-focused approach.
  • Availability to work 37.5 hours per week on 7.5-hour shifts Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.
  • Start date of 27th July.
