Description

  • Work with Sales and Customer Success teams from discovery through deal close to help shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates.
  • Lead initial discovery meetings, platform demos, and technical Proof of Value engagements for existing customers and new opportunities.
  • Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions and position Tanium to address those needs.
  • Serve as a technical expert throughout pre-sales and POV processes, aligning tactics with strategic account goals.
  • Partner with field engineering teams to ensure technical effectiveness and a consistent customer experience during the POV process.
  • Address customer needs through clear verbal, written, and presentation communication.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Participate and speak at regional marketing events and conferences.
  • Support customer-facing sales and channel enablement, including training.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve effectiveness across the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Western Canada, specifically Vancouver or Calgary.
  • 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support roles.
  • Significant software pre-sales or related value-based technical selling experience in very large enterprise environments.
  • Experience presenting to audiences from C-suite leaders to solution users.
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex initiatives and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, compliance, and related products.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: endpoint security, IT operations management, or regulatory compliance.
  • Broad knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a team-oriented, mission-first attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% to meet with customers and prospects in person.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of C$95,000 to C$285,000.
