Description

  • Serve as the post-sales technical lead and trusted advisor for customer use cases across Databricks products.
  • Design, implement, and scale secure, scalable data and AI solutions with customer technical teams.
  • Lead architecture reviews, troubleshoot blockers, and advise on performance and cost optimization.
  • Work with customer stakeholders from development through go-live to support use case delivery and enablement.
  • Own the technical account strategy and execution plan for key use cases in strategic accounts.
  • Act as the internal point of contact for production and go-live status across multiple customer use cases.
  • Coordinate with Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, and specialized expert teams to resolve issues outside your scope.
  • Develop and execute plans to accelerate use cases into production, including coordination with Professional Services proposals.
  • Navigate product and engineering teams to bring new innovations, private previews, and upgrades to customers when relevant.
  • Report on customer health, risks, blockers, product adoption, and use case progress to Field Engineering leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience delivering projects in Data, Analytics, or AI.
  • Programming experience in PySpark, SQL, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed data and analytics systems and solution architecture.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Ability to contribute to technical debate and design decisions with customers.
  • Experience attributing business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
  • Technical program coordination experience, including account and stakeholder management.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
