Description

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient data analytics solutions using Microsoft platforms.
  • Design and architect end-to-end data analytics solutions including data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, data visualization, and reporting.
  • Work with the Director, Delivery Experience and Application and Analytics Business Solution Advisor on solution design, architecture, and project estimation.
  • Implement data integration pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a unified platform.
  • Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to enable actionable insights for users.
  • Review existing data architectures to identify gaps and risks, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and scalability needs.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks by implementing optimizations to improve data processing, query performance, and overall system efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients, data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Execute across all stages of the data software development lifecycle and apply best practices and emerging techniques in analytics solution design and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience; Master’s in data science or analytics is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years as a Data Analytics Architect or Senior Data Integration Developer (Data Engineer) focused on Microsoft technologies and 10+ years of overall data-related experience.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft data analytics technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure Analysis Services.
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling (dimensional and normalized), data integration (ETL/ELT), data warehousing, metadata management, data governance, and data quality principles.
  • Experience with pipeline orchestration, performance tuning, and implementing scalable, secure, high-performance data architecture.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration in analytics workflows (Azure Machine Learning, Python, or R) is a plus.
  • Experience using source control and project tools (Azure DevOps, Git, JIRA, SVN) and delivering within Scrum/Agile/Kanban methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of data security and compliance considerations in cloud environments and familiarity with standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2 is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder collaboration, requirements elicitation, and customer-service skills.
  • Willingness to travel 4–6 times per year (no more than 24 days away from home per calendar year) and reside (at time of application) in one of the following states: WI, IL, MI, IA, OH, IN, NC, SD, AR, FL, or AZ.
