Description

  • Build, secure, patch, and operate self-hosted and managed MCP servers and maintain the MCP registry.
  • Own the agent platform’s deployment patterns, guardrails, observability, and hosting infrastructure.
  • Co-own the AWS Bedrock runtime and gateway, including model access, cost attribution, content filtering, model pinning, and quota management.
  • Build an identity-matched Bedrock-to-Snowflake pipeline for AI usage tracking and threshold alerts.
  • Manage MDM configuration, desktop clients, credentials, and authentication flows for non-technical employees.
  • Develop AI automations across Claude Desktop, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Implement governance based on data sensitivity, least privilege, auditability, and model sandboxing.
  • Automate operational tasks and manage upgrades, credentials, quotas, and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, including production ownership.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, ECS or Lambda, CloudWatch, and VPCs.
  • Experience building backend services, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
  • Ability to build MCP servers or API integrations from scratch.
  • Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent development, including shipped implementations.
  • Ability to independently define and execute work from underspecified requirements.
  • Strong judgment in buy-versus-build decisions and preference for maintaining a coherent technology stack.
  • Bias toward shipping, automation, candid communication, and operational ownership.
