Description

  • Oversee engagement, marketing, outreach, care coordination, data, and medical assistant teams.
  • Translate company strategy into operational plans, sprints, dashboards, and OKRs.
  • Improve clinical and administrative performance by standardizing protocols and increasing efficiency.
  • Track and manage performance against metrics such as gross margin, CAC, time-to-first-visit, and patient and caregiver NPS.
  • Partner with clinical, commercial, R&D, product, data, and engineering leaders to align operations and execution.
  • Scale payer coverage and expand national payer network contracts across commercial, Medicare Advantage, and dual-eligible populations.
  • Use technology, predictive analytics, and AI to improve operations, throughput, workforce deployment, and patient access.
  • Hire, mentor, and manage high-performing teams while driving change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support growth in local and national markets and identify opportunities to expand services and revenue.
  • Strengthen the patient, provider, and partner experience through operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 12-15+ years of operational leadership experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience scaling a digital health or telehealth startup through Series B/C growth.
  • Experience partnering closely with product, data, and engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including payer credentialing, asynchronous and synchronous care models, and clinical licensure.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive performance improvements.
  • Deep financial acumen and understanding of how operational decisions affect the P&L.
  • Ability to lead with extreme ownership and troubleshoot root causes when targets are missed.
  • Strong executive communication and collaboration skills with physicians and clinical leaders.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced growth-stage environment with high accountability.
  • Physical proximity to Chicago is strongly preferred, though the role is remote.
