Description

  • Own retail financial performance, including revenue, comp sales, EBITDA, sales productivity, labor, and controllable expenses.
  • Lead multi-state store operations and ensure consistent execution of standards across all locations.
  • Oversee inventory management, shrink control, stock optimization, and in-stock performance.
  • Direct store openings, closures, remodels, and relocations.
  • Deliver a consistent customer experience and improve service, satisfaction, and NPS metrics.
  • Execute visual merchandising and brand standards across all stores.
  • Hire, develop, retain, and coach District Managers and Store Leaders.
  • Build succession plans, bench strength, and performance management routines across the field.
  • Translate company strategy into field-level execution plans and operational cadence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain to support growth and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with state labor laws, health and safety standards, loss prevention policies, and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of retail leadership experience.
  • 5+ years leading multi-unit or multi-state operations.
  • Proven ownership of P&L for a regional or national portfolio.
  • Experience managing District Managers or Area Managers.
  • Track record of driving sales growth and operational improvement.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, business acumen, leadership, and strategic skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak traffic times.
  • Ability to travel 50% to 75% of the time.
  • Must be 21 or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a computer and office devices, remain stationary or stand for long periods, travel for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
