Description

  • Define and own QA strategy for assigned product areas, including test coverage, risk prioritization, and release readiness criteria.
  • Plan and execute testing across web, API, and integration layers for new features, platform releases, and regression cycles.
  • Design, maintain, and govern the test case library to ensure coverage of business-critical flows and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute quality input early in refinement, sprint planning, and architecture reviews to surface risks and ambiguities before implementation.
  • Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects with clear root cause analysis, regression risk assessment, and business impact framing.
  • Spot coverage gaps, propose tooling improvements, and contribute independently to QA process improvement initiatives.
  • Apply and advocate for AI-assisted testing approaches for test generation, exploratory testing, bug analysis, and documentation.
  • Contribute to performance testing planning and post-test analysis in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with BA, developers, and DevOps engineers to improve testing processes and build a strong quality culture.
  • Mentor mid-level QA engineers and act as the primary quality voice in cross-functional delivery discussions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in manual QA.
  • Proven experience designing and owning end-to-end test strategies for complex, multi-service web platforms.
  • Deep expertise in REST API testing, including complex business logic, contract correctness, and edge-case behavior across interconnected services.
  • Strong command of QA documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and BDD scenario authoring in Gherkin or equivalent.
  • Solid grasp of microservices and distributed systems testing challenges, including data consistency, service interdependencies, and regression risk in shared infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how QA gates integrate into automated build processes.
  • Hands-on familiarity with performance and load testing concepts, including interpreting results and identifying risk thresholds.
  • Experience with test management tools such as TestRail and defect tracking platforms such as Jira, including detailed bug reports with root cause analysis and business impact assessment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with comfort contributing to architectural reviews, sprint planning, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong practical command of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot applied to QA workflows, with the ability to critically evaluate outputs and promote responsible usage practices.
  • Experience in online gambling, fintech, or other high-load, regulated systems.
  • Technical background or degree in Computer Science (nice to have).
  • Automation skills such as Java + REST Assured, Selenium, or equivalent, sufficient to read, review, and contribute to automation coverage discussions (nice to have).
  • Hands-on experience with performance or load testing tools such as Locust, k6, or JMeter (nice to have).
  • Experience testing real-time data systems such as WebSockets, event streams, or feed-based integrations (nice to have).
