Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve sales quotas and grow market share.
  • Manage the full capital sales cycle from lead generation and site assessment through quote, negotiation, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Build and maintain relationships with neurosurgeons, OR staff, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
  • Deliver clinical presentations, product demonstrations, and ROI/value-based selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, and clinical teams to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay current on clinical trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend surgical procedures and OR installations to support product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; science, healthcare, or business-related major preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of capital equipment sales experience in a hospital or surgical environment.
  • Preferred experience in neurosurgery, spine, or OR-based technologies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in high-value sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes, capital budgeting cycles, and value-based purchasing.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in the OR environment and supporting live surgical cases.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the territory.

  • Base salary of $80,000 with on-target earnings of $350,000+.
