Description

  • Own and ship iOS features end-to-end from problem framing → design → implementation → rollout → measurement.
  • Set and enforce mobile quality targets (e.g., crash-free targets, cold-start p95 improvements, accessibility and security compliance).
  • Lead iOS architecture and standards, including modularization, design system components, networking, and telemetry.
  • Ensure safe rollouts using feature flags, staged rollouts, server-driven config, kill switches, and clear rollback plans.
  • Instrument, monitor, and alert on critical journeys (errors, latency, jank, memory/battery usage, and app size) and act on signals.
  • Write and maintain well-documented, tested, high-performance code in Swift and Objective-C, and promote best practices through code reviews.
  • Accelerate team delivery via design/code reviews, mentoring senior engineers, improving CI/build times, and maintaining clear documentation.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to prototype, experiment, and make data-driven product and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years building large-scale iOS apps with a track record of shipping high-impact user features.
  • Expert in Swift with strong Swift Package Manager (SPM) expertise and solid SwiftUI/UIKit and Objective-C interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency (async/await, GCD) and profiling with Instruments for performance tuning.
  • Deep experience in networking (REST/GraphQL), offline/caching strategies, secure storage (Keychain), privacy, and accessibility.
  • Proven release and quality engineering experience: XCTest/XCUITest/snapshot testing, CI/CD, staged rollouts, feature flags, and reliable rollback procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence org-level designs and standards, lead multi-team efforts, and mentor senior engineers.
  • Crisp written and spoken communication and the ability to partner effectively with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
  • C1 English proficiency.
  • Nice to have: hands-on Android experience (Kotlin/Java) to help design shared patterns and review cross-platform architecture.
