Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to nonprofit clients.
  • Support client onboarding for assigned engagements according to defined processes.
  • Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, bookkeeping entries, monthly close, and financial reporting and analysis.
  • Work directly with clients to manage day-to-day relationships within established processes and budget parameters.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio manager and other Client Account Associates to deliver timely and effective client communication.
  • Discover, implement, and help evaluate software and automation tools to improve client service and efficiency.
  • Manage and document internal workflows and provide guidance to clients.
  • Participate in recurring team and one-on-one video check-in meetings to stay aligned on goals and priorities.
  • Embrace coaching and feedback from management and implement changes to support team and client outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to add services or tools that increase client value and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience within the nonprofit industry.
  • 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
  • Experience in a multi-client environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability and commitment to work full time during business hours (8:00 am–5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST).
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent organization and time management, with attention to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and collaborating within a team pod.
  • Openness to learning new technology, automation, and new delivery practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality when handling client data.
