Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Support client onboarding for assigned engagements according to defined processes.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as applicable.
  • Perform bookkeeping entries, monthly close activities, and financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with managers and teammates to ensure timely, effective client communication.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships while working within established processes and budget parameters.
  • Identify opportunities to add services or tools that improve client value and efficiency.
  • Participate in recurring team and one-on-one video check-ins.
  • Learn and implement new technology to help solve client issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including AP, AR, monthly close, and financial reporting/analysis.
  • 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
  • Experience in a multi-client environment is highly preferred.
  • Availability to work part-time, 25-30 hours per week.
  • Commitment to work during traditional business hours of 8:00 am–5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST.
  • Ability and willingness to embrace new technology.
  • Strong focus on client service and helping businesses succeed.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with client data.
