Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Support client onboarding for all assigned engagements according to established processes.
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as applicable.
  • Prepare bookkeeping entries and close the books monthly.
  • Prepare financial reporting and analysis.
  • Work directly with clients to manage day-to-day relationships within established processes and budget parameters.
  • Collaborate with managers and team associates through timely and effective communication.
  • Discover, implement, and use software and tools to improve client service and efficiency.
  • Document internal workflows and follow internal processes.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional services or tools that add client value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly close, and financial reporting/analysis.
  • 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
  • Experience in a multi-client environment highly preferred.
  • Ability and commitment to work part-time, 25-30 hours per week, during traditional business hours.
  • Availability to work between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm in EST, CST, MST, or PST time zones.
  • Strong understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Comfort learning and embracing new technology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with client data.
  • Experience providing client service and managing relationships is preferred.
