Description

  • Develop, verify, and validate system test cases for web-based and mobile applications.
  • Create and execute test plans and set up test environments.
  • Understand and execute test scripts for database execution.
  • Validate end-to-end functionality and enhancement requests.
  • Resolve technical and business issues through analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement effective testing solutions.
  • Partner with Developers, Project Managers, and UX Designers to solve complex challenges and improve the customer experience.
  • Support quality assurance efforts for automated testing using Cypress and Appium.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of QA engineering experience, or no degree with 6+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • 2+ years of web automation experience using page object modeling (POM) and Cypress.
  • Experience in API testing, both automated and manual, for web, backend, and mobile applications using REST/RestAssured and microservices.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as MySQL, Postman, and Eclipse IDE.
  • High-level proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Experience working in an e-commerce environment is preferred.
  • 2+ years of mobile automation experience using Appium is preferred.
  • Additional experience with WebDriver IO, Mocha, and Chai is a plus.
  • Web automation experience with Selenium and Cucumber is preferred.
  • Experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to increase productivity is preferred.
  • Ability to work the required Monday through Friday schedule from 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time / 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Indian Standard Time.
