Description

  • Develop and execute a B2B go-to-market business development strategy for APAC.
  • Manage key accounts and high-value partnerships with top universities.
  • Build trust and multi-year relationships with board members and decision-makers at leading institutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales to align global strategy with local execution.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and oversee performance reporting.
  • Advise and liaise with new and existing clients to grow and maintain partnerships.
  • Represent Studyportals at conferences and industry events.
  • Support the full commercial cycle from lead generation through negotiation, campaign implementation, reporting, and evaluation.
  • Report directly to the Executive Vice President, APAC.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in higher education, EdTech, or an adjacent sector such as government is ideal.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic partnerships and delivering commercial targets through change.
  • Fluent in an Asian language and English at C1 level, both written and spoken.
  • Strong network of key decision-makers, including c-suite, director, and government stakeholders in the higher education industry.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Microsoft is preferred.
  • Experience in solution sales, regional market growth, or account strategy is preferred.
  • Client- and market-share-focused with a long-term approach to creating client value.
  • Must have the right to live and work in Asia; visa sponsorship is not available.
