Description

  • Function as an information security subject matter expert and lead cross-functional teams in customer and partner engagements to build trust and support business growth.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for go-to-market related security requests.
  • Lead large-scale efforts to implement and operate tooling and automation across multiple teams, functions, disciplines, and time zones.
  • Identify and evaluate information security control gaps and oversee remediation efforts with control owners.
  • Develop information security policies and standards based on cybersecurity framework guidelines.
  • Define, develop, and report on program health and success metrics to inform management and strategic direction.
  • Facilitate conversations between customers, partners, Legal, and Security teams on security topics and requirements.
  • Represent Stripe’s security activities and communicate compliance controls to external stakeholders, including global financial institutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience engaging with customer, partner, engineering, security, compliance, and legal teams during the go-to-market sales cycle.
  • Subject matter expertise in information security frameworks, practices, policies, standards, and procedures such as NIST CSF, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Experience driving large-scale projects and programs from start to finish in highly complex operating environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Ability to communicate clear and succinct security compliance controls and requirements to external stakeholders.
  • Strong background in information security operations, risk identification, and controls assessment.
  • Ability to balance business needs with security requirements and focus on business outcomes.
  • Preferred experience developing program performance reports using dashboards and OKRs and performing detailed data analysis.
  • Preferred experience working with engineers to automate security controls and generate evidence.
  • Preferred experience using AI to automate information gathering tasks and building interfaces for non-technical users.
