Description

  • Own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for Stripe Apps, Marketplace, and the broader partner ecosystem.
  • Define the value proposition of the marketplace and ecosystem for developers, customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Build messaging and competitive positioning frameworks that differentiate Stripe’s ecosystem from alternatives.
  • Partner with Product, Partnerships, PMM, and Partner Marketing to launch new apps, marketplace categories, and ecosystem solutions.
  • Ensure ecosystem offerings are included in product launches and major company moments such as Sessions, Tour, and announcements.
  • Develop GTM playbooks, solution briefs, pitch decks, and battlecards for field teams.
  • Collaborate on case studies, demand generation, and narratives that demonstrate ecosystem adoption and network effects.
  • Track adoption patterns and competitive benchmarks to inform product and partnership investment decisions.
  • Engage Analyst Relations to increase Stripe’s external visibility for its ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in product marketing, platform/ecosystem marketing, partner marketing, or product management.
  • 3-5 years of marketing or go-to-market experience in a B2B SaaS or platform environment.
  • Experience positioning and marketing a marketplace, ecosystem, or platform product.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, partnerships, and sales teams.
  • Experience developing positioning frameworks, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for developer, technical founder, and non-technical founder audiences.
  • Ability to distill ambiguous inputs into clear frameworks, roadmaps, and priorities.
  • Experience managing highly interdependent, complex projects across multiple work streams.
  • Ability to influence across disciplines and operate in a fast-moving environment.
  • Preferred: Experience marketing a developer-facing marketplace or app ecosystem.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with partner program structures and how marketplaces drive distribution and adoption.
  • Preferred: Experience working with startup founders or developer audiences.
  • Preferred: Background in payments, fintech, or infrastructure platforms.
  • Preferred: Active use of AI tools for research, content creation, and analysis.
