Description

  • Manage the monthly close of US GAAP books and local books, including reconciliations, schedules, fluctuation analysis, and reporting deliverables.
  • Own the end-to-end statutory audit process, including preparation of financial statements, technical memos, audit support, and board presentations for assigned entities.
  • Research, document, and drive technical accounting positions under US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Collaborate with Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, and other business partners on cross-functional initiatives and financial decisions.
  • Supervise finance outsourcing partners to ensure timely and accurate compliance and filing requirements.
  • Drive finance transformation, process improvements, and automation initiatives, including AI identification, recommendation, and implementation.
  • Prepare regulatory and statistical returns or surveys for regulators and government agencies.
  • Work with the tax team to support local entity tax compliance and tax audits or reviews.
  • Support new product and entity launches by providing technical accounting guidance.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and actual-versus-variance analysis for finance outsourcing partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 audit background.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting systems such as Oracle or equivalent.
  • Experience with AI automation.
  • Experience handling large audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Experience with Workiva FS preparation.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Qualified accountant with certification such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment with the ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and self-motivated, proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of the payments, fintech, or financial services industries is preferred.
  • Accounting experience in a fast-growing tech environment is preferred.
  • Hubble or SQL experience is beneficial.
