Description

  • Lead long-term financial strategy, multi-year planning, scenario modeling, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Partner with the CEO, CRO, and leadership team on pricing, growth investments, market expansion, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning tied to business drivers.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify cost optimization and revenue opportunities, and provide ROI analysis.
  • Present financial reports and strategic updates to leadership, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders as Treasurer.
  • Lead the annual audit process, Form 990 submission, and other required state or federal filings.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, banking transactions, and investment approach under Finance Committee governance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience.
  • At least 5+ years of experience supervising finance staff.
  • Experience building, managing, and growing a finance function for a growth-stage organization is preferred.
  • Experience leading financial operations and strategy in an organization with a $25–$50 million annual budget is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, regulations, and GAAP.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial/accounting software and business intelligence/reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization professionally and handle confidential information.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to work in a stationary desk-based role and on a computer for prolonged periods.
