Description

  • Manage financial operations for a fast-growing startup.
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll.
  • Support hiring, benefits, and human resources processes.
  • Work closely with the fund accounting and finance team.
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership and the Board.
  • Manage state and federal compliance and reporting.
  • Implement accounting and finance software systems.
  • Manage the cap table.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of finance experience, including accounting, FP&A, and systems.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling fintech environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of success working with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in financial modeling and projections.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with a modern finance tech stack.
  • Understanding of accounting nuances related to startup investing.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Interest or experience in the venture capital industry is preferred.
  • Must be based in the U.S.; Bay Area location is preferred.
