Description

Manage financial operations for a fast-growing startup.
Lead forecasting and budgeting activities.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll.
Support hiring, benefits, and human resources processes.
Work closely with the fund accounting and finance team.
Prepare financial reports for leadership and the Board.
Manage state and federal compliance and reporting.
Implement accounting and finance software systems.
Manage the cap table.

Requirements

10+ years of finance experience, including accounting, FP&A, and systems.
Experience in a rapidly scaling fintech environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Track record of success working with cross-functional teams.
Background in financial modeling and projections.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience with a modern finance tech stack.
Understanding of accounting nuances related to startup investing.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to problem solving.
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Interest or experience in the venture capital industry is preferred.
Must be based in the U.S.; Bay Area location is preferred.

Salary range of $130,000 to $175,000 per year.
