Description

  • Own contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to increase retention and customer revenue.
  • Develop and implement sales cycle strategies to drive product adoption, upsells, and client retention among existing customers.
  • Solve complex client needs by working across product, sales, risk, and operations teams.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close for startups and small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, research, networking, blitzing, and territory development.
  • Identify customer pain points and propose Stripe solutions that address them.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support customer success.
  • Drive end-to-end campaigns to increase adoption of Stripe’s offerings.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing or sales role.
  • Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build strong relationships with technical customers.
  • Ability to drive and close upsell opportunities for additional Stripe products in long-term, consultative engagements.
  • Strong analytical ability to manage complex pricing and cost considerations.
  • Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
  • Experience with Excel and SQL, or a willingness to learn, is preferred.
