Description

  • Design and apply signal processing and machine learning techniques to address radar and RF sensing and counter-sensing challenges.
  • Design and implement models and simulations for advanced RF systems.
  • Lead small teams and projects.
  • Support business development and proposal writing efforts.
  • Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and cross-functional teams to deploy capabilities to prototype systems.
  • Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for sense making and sensor decision making, including detection, classification, electronic support, attack, protection, and cognitive EW.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5-7+ years of relevant work experience depending on degree level (BS +7 years or MS +5 years).
  • Experience in two or more areas such as RF/radar signal processing, optimization, waveform design, electronic warfare, machine learning, adaptive signal processing, AI/ML algorithm development, test and evaluation, model and simulation, systems engineering, test engineering, radar modeling, or RF systems prototyping.
  • Proficiency in one or more scientific or mathematical programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
  • Strong mathematical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Security Clearance (preferred).
  • Experience with defense-sector RF technologies for sensing and electronic warfare applications, including electronic attack, electronic protection, cognitive EW, and advanced electronic support measures (preferred).
  • Experience with machine learning methods and tools such as NLP, image recognition, semantic segmentation, reinforcement learning, Bayesian methods, deep convolutional networks, graph neural networks, PyTorch, Ray, TensorFlow/board, and MLflow (preferred).
  • Experience translating mission needs into end-to-end analytical solutions and creating customer and senior leadership briefings (preferred).

Benefits

  • Full-time salary range of $157,000 to $220,000.
  • Compensation determined by experience, education, training, key skills, security clearance, and market conditions.
