Description

  • Design, build, evaluate, and ship agentic features and interactive experiences for Spotify products.
  • Collaborate with user research, design, data science, product management, and engineering teams to develop new product features.
  • Prototype new approaches and productionize solutions at scale for hundreds of millions of active users.
  • Promote best practices for ML systems development, testing, and evaluation across the team and organization.
  • Contribute to the machine learning practitioner community at Spotify.
  • Work at the intersection of product innovation and advanced machine learning to create new audio experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience as an ML practitioner working on complex real-world problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end production ML systems at scale.
  • Experience with production LLM-scale systems is a plus.
  • Experience incorporating human feedback into LLM systems using methods such as DPO, KTO, or reinforcement fine-tuning.
  • Experience designing end-to-end technical specs and modular architectures for ML frameworks in collaboration with product teams.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed data processing tools such as Apache Beam and Apache Spark.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Ability to work within the European region and collaborate in GMT/CET time zones; France is excluded due to on-call restrictions.
