Description

  • Develop and drive pre-season item-level sales and inventory plans aligned with historical performance, merchandising strategies, and financial targets.
  • Reforecast item-level plans during the season and conduct ad hoc analysis to identify inventory risks and opportunities.
  • Recap and analyze monthly actuals versus plan and prior year, then present findings and recommended actions to cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare presentation materials and present category strategies in OTB meetings.
  • Partner with Product on line creation and provide analytics to support seasonal financial and KPI targets.
  • Build and execute style, color, and size purchasing plans for categories across all channels.
  • Develop pricing and markdown strategies to maximize sales and margin while meeting sell-through targets.
  • Manage inventory availability across sales channels and coordinate with marketing and channel owners to optimize inventory.
  • Maintain the SKU master, including new SKU creation and lifecycle management.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and meetings while collaborating cross-functionally to drive shared business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, operations management, or an equivalent field.
  • 4+ years of experience in planning, finance, or supply chain analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics including sales, gross margin, return rate, months on hand, sell-through, and turn rate.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations and processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and logical functions such as SUMIF and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with planning software is required; Toolio is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity to drive results and process improvement.
  • Dependable, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as a team player.
  • High energy and results-oriented, with a willingness to take on a wide range of ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a stationary position for 75% of the workday.
