Description

  • Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls and explain product features, specifications, and integration capabilities.
  • Create and deliver compelling demonstrations of Stellar Cyber products and solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers and prospects.
  • Lead and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through diagnosis and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot Stellar Cyber software and hardware and support customer deployments of the Starlight solution.
  • Install network traffic sensors in physical, virtual, public cloud, and private cloud environments.
  • Work closely with TAC support and Product Management to resolve technical issues and improve customer outcomes.
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Provide weekly status reports to management on high-priority cases and pre-sales activity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role with technical knowledge of products and services.
  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales support experience as a sales or systems engineer.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, routing, switching, and LAN technologies.
  • Extensive cybersecurity experience, including network security, firewalls, IDS, sandboxing, and security detections.
  • Experience with Linux, Windows administration, SIEM technology, and virtualization is a plus.
  • Experience with public and private cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to install and manage applications in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% across sales territories.
