Description

  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls, including new inquiries, follow-ups, and inactive-patient outreach.
  • Convert patient inquiries into scheduled appointments through consistent follow-up.
  • Complete end-to-end insurance verification, including coverage, plan details, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
  • Explain patient financial responsibility clearly over the phone.
  • Secure prior authorizations and manage Commercial, PIP, and Workers’ Compensation insurance cases.
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and follow-up documentation in eClinicalWorks.
  • Build relationships with patients and referral sources, including attorneys and physicians.
  • Support practice growth through effective communication and patient conversion.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
  • Previous experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Pain Medicine.
  • Experience with the full insurance verification cycle and prior authorizations.
  • Experience handling Commercial insurance plans, including HMO/PPO, Aetna, Cigna, and Humana.
  • Experience managing Personal Injury, PIP, and Workers’ Compensation claims.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume medical calls in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Clear, confident, and warm English phone presence.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with performance-based accountability.
  • Availability for a full-time contractor schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, Eastern Time.
  • Starting pay of $6 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
