Description

  • Conduct daily outbound call campaigns to re-engage patients, reduce no-show rates, and fill open calendar slots.
  • Manage high-volume inbound calls through RingCentral, answer patient questions, and route clinical emergencies to triage staff.
  • Provide bilingual patient support and advocacy in both English and Spanish with culturally competent communication.
  • Schedule patient encounters in IMS (Integrity Medical Systems) EMR and optimize the calendar to fill cancellations and scheduling gaps.
  • Confirm upcoming appointments, verify demographic information, and ensure patient files are complete before visits.
  • Document all communication notes, call outcomes, and patient touchpoints accurately in the EMR.
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflows across Pediatrics and Urgent Care using separate department-specific protocols.
  • Monitor daily appointment rosters, identify missed visits, and promptly contact patients to reschedule.
  • Check patients in virtually and support front-desk administrative operations as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Patient Coordinator, or Medical Assistant in a U.S. community health center or clinic.
  • Direct experience working in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine settings.
  • Proven ability to make high-volume outbound phone calls daily.
  • Strong familiarity with IMS EMR and RingCentral VoIP platforms is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a secure, completely silent remote workspace that complies with HIPAA privacy protocols.
  • High-speed internet connection and an automated time-tracking system are required.
  • Confidence communicating with patients and families over the phone with empathy and persistence.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced scheduling and administrative workflows.
