Description

  • Lead the discovery phase by defining scope and facilitating requirements gathering sessions, workshops, stakeholder interviews, and site visits.
  • Produce BA deliverables including BRDs, SRS documents, user stories with acceptance criteria, gap analyses, BPMN process flows, wireframes, integration mapping documents, and data dictionaries.
  • Identify out-of-scope items and align documentation with BA leadership, project delivery, and project management teams before finalizing.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, data teams, QC teams, UI/UX designers, and technical writers to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly documented.
  • Provide estimates and dependency inputs using work breakdown structures and story points.
  • Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions on agile or hybrid projects.
  • Support implementation by handing over work to delivery teams and clarifying requirements through development, data, and quality testing phases.
  • Attend and/or lead client demos and UAT sessions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, including challenging stakeholders, and help build consensus across complex organizational environments.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and scope creep, escalate issues appropriately, and support change management activities.
  • Coordinate with vendor BA teams when mixed or vendor teams are involved, review their deliverables, and support knowledge transfer.
  • Mentor junior analysts, promote BA standards and best practices, and contribute to process improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide BA input to proposals, RFP responses, and early scoping activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field is a strong plus, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 5–7 years of relevant business analysis experience, including at least 2 years at a Senior Business Analyst level on software development projects.
  • Hands-on experience delivering across the full BA lifecycle in hybrid, Agile (Scrum), and Waterfall environments.
  • Strong knowledge of BA deliverables such as BRD, SRS, user stories with acceptance criteria, BPMN process flows, gap analysis, data dictionaries, integration mapping, and wireframes.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, requirements management, process modeling, and stakeholder management in complex environments.
  • Excellent facilitation, workshop, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Visio, Figma, Jira or Azure DevOps, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Full professional proficiency in Standard Arabic and English, both written and verbal, with comfort working with multinational teams.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within large multi-disciplinary delivery teams of 10–30+ members, including mixed vendor teams.
  • Government or public sector project experience is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data migration techniques is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software solutions is a strong plus.
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Highly organized, structured, and methodical with strong prioritization, delegation, and planning skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and resourceful problem-solving abilities.
  • Friendly, collaborative team player with a professional demeanor in dynamic environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset and high self-discipline.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with commitment to knowledge sharing and team development.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of objectives, urgency, and priorities.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and manage competing priorities diplomatically.
