Description

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise data strategy aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Define the organization’s data vision, roadmap, and governance framework.
  • Identify opportunities to use data as a strategic asset for business growth and innovation.
  • Lead data-driven initiatives that support business objectives and generate measurable value.
  • Translate business requirements into data strategy components and actionable plans.
  • Present data strategies, findings, and recommendations to executive leadership and the board.
  • Build cross-functional consensus on data priorities and resource allocation.
  • Establish data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Define data quality metrics and implement continuous improvement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Promote data literacy and a data-driven mindset across the organization.
  • Define the analytics and business intelligence roadmap.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases for advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning.
  • Evaluate emerging data technologies and assess their applicability to the organization.
  • Measure and report the value and ROI of data initiatives.

Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in data strategy or a related field.
  • Experience aligning data strategy with business objectives and transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to define governance frameworks, roadmaps, and data quality metrics.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Experience with analytics, business intelligence, advanced analytics, AI, or machine learning planning.
  • Preferred certifications such as CDMP, DAMA, or TOGAF.
  • Experience in sectors such as healthcare, financial services, or retail is preferred.
  • Background in management consulting or advisory services is preferred.
  • Thought leadership publications in data strategy or related topics are preferred.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sector-specific regulatory requirements is preferred.
